Jed finished his Sophomore season with incredible success. Completing the season with an undefeated 50-0 record. Jed has taken down every wrestler he has crossed this year, while only being taken down four times. When given choice, Jed will pick bottom position at almost every opportunity. This year if he did not pin or tech first, he chose bottom position with every opponent. Successfully he escaped or reversed everyone, usually within the first 15 seconds of the round! Of the 50 opponents this season, none have been able to expose Jed to his back, while Jed has successfully turned EVERY wrestler to his back, resulting in points or pin!

RENO WORLDS
(April 2011)  Jed wrestled an amazing Reno Worlds 2011.  He was crowned champion of the 125 lb 15 & under division.  Starting the tournament without a seeded placement, he battled his way through the 130 man bracket eventually finding the gold.
He wrestled very prestigious competition such as his third match into the tournament, he established a 9-2 victory over Alex Herrera, a 130 lb Oregon 1A/2A State Champion.  Next match in he would meet up with Reno Worlds Champion and nationally ranked, California wrestler Jon Jay Chavez.  Chavez was 2nd seed of the tournament.  Jed left the mat with a hard fought 3-2 win.  Next to beat Kurtis Loftis, a 3rd placer at Idaho 4A State by 15-0 technical fall.  That put Jed in the semi-finals, where he won by an impressive 9-0 margin over Oregon 125lb 4A State champion, Trevor Anderson.
Last would be his battle for the crown. Where he matched up with Ty1er Berger of Oregon.  Berger nationally ranking #2 at folkstyle (themat.com), Oregon 5A 125lb State Champion, and WOW Reno 2 time Worlds Champion would prove to be a worthy opponent. Jed wrestled with Berger for all three rounds and then an addition three rounds of overtime. Battling all the way through resulting in a 3-1 victory for Jed.
To speak more of the intensity of this bracket, all of the six placers of the 125lb, 130 man bracket, were state champions this season, save one wrestler which was a runner up to nationally known Jade Rauser of Montana.
